UBuildIt Raleigh, North Carolina opened up their franchise in the fall of 2020. Owners Duane Knight, Chance Terry, and Kayla Terry from Battle Creek, Michigan relocated to North Carolina 3 years ago to enjoy the warmer climate and to begin their next endeavor. Owner Duane Knight has spent 30 Years in law enforcement in Michigan retiring in 2011 from the Battle Creek Police Department. In 1992 Duane opened Knight Construction and has built custom homes ever since. Kayla, Duane’s daughter, is a REALTOR and is experienced in land acquisition. Chance currently serves in the Army Reserves as a Civil Affairs Team Sergeant. Further, Co-owners Chance and Kayla Terry have been involved in Knight Construction through all the phases and are excited to join Duane in their joint family venture as UBuildIt Raleigh franchise owners.
